Immigration New Zealand
This comprehensive induction pathway supported new Immigration, Border, and Compliance Officers as they developed the knowledge, skills, and confidence required for their roles. The programme blended online learning, facilitated workshops, how-to videos, workplace assessments, and structured buddy support to create a practical and engaging onboarding experience.
Recognising that capability is developed through both learning and experience, the pathway extended beyond formal training into the workplace. Supporting resources and coaching guides were created to help leaders facilitate regular check-ins, track progress, and provide targeted support as learners applied their knowledge on the job.
Elected Members Induction
Developed for New Zealanders considering standing for local government, this module provides a realistic introduction to elected life. Using storytelling, learner reflection, and real-world examples, it explores the responsibilities, challenges, and opportunities of governance while helping learners assess their readiness for public leadership and community representation.
